Race fast in wet conditions with the RACEPANT: super lightweight waterproof running trousers that have been built for speed and protection.

Designed to meet mandatory kit requirements, where races need you to carry waterproof trousers, the RACEPANT is a high performance waterproof suitable for trail, ultra, fell and mountain racing. Benefitting from 2.5 layer waterproof fabric and taped seams, the trousers have a high waterproof rating of 15,000 HH - enough to protect you during heavy downpours.

Everything in the RACEPANT has been considered through the lens of racing. The trousers boast a high breathability rating of 15,000 B-1, which means they allow heat to escape so you don't overheat as you raise the pace.

When every gram counts, the 86g RACEPANT is a super lightweight piece of kit. It packs down small too, rolling up and being secured by a loop on the waistband. This makes it very easy to stash in a race vest or waist pack when not in use.

Product Care

Please consider the environment when deciding when to wash your clothing. Obviously if you’ve done a particularly long/intense activity in a garment and it smells, it’s probably time to put it in the wash. But you can often get several wears out of your kit without washing, by simply hanging it up and letting it air between uses.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Zip up any zips and fasten any Velcro before placing inside the washing machine.
Wash on a 30°C cycle, or according to the garment’s care label.
We recommend using a detergent suitable for performance clothing such as Grangers® Active Wash. This laundry detergent is specifically formulated to remove stubborn dirt and odours, and to maintain your clothing’s wicking properties.
Do not use fabric softener.
Leave to dry naturally – do not tumble dry.

Warranty

We pride ourselves on the quality and performance of our products. However, in the unlikely event of a fault of defect, all INOV8 products come with a 12-month warranty.

This warranty excludes:

Stay dry & protected thanks to the RACEPANT's 2.5 layer waterproof fabric, which has a high protection rating of 15,000 HH. This means that the trousers can withstand over 15,000mm of rain in a 24 hour period. In addition, the pant benefits from fully taped seams.

The RACEPANT keeps you dry but doesn't trap heat. Boasting a high breathability rating of 15,000 B-1, the trousers allow heat to move through the waterproof shell, allowing you to regulate your body temperature during intense exercise.
Race Compliant

Built for racing, the RACEPANT meets mandatory kit requirements when race directors deem it necessary to carry waterproof trousers. It's not there as a tick on a checklist though, the RACEPANT is a lightweight performance waterproof that will enable you to continue moving fast, while keeping you dry in wet conditions.
Lightweight & Packable

Designed with speed in mind, the RACEPANT is super-lightweight, at just 86g. It rolls up very small and can be secured in place using a loop on the waist band. The RACEPANT can then be stashed into a race vest or hydration vest ready for use.
