Run long distances over soft and muddy terrain in the X-TALON ULTRA 260 V2 - perfect for ultramarathons or those sloppy long runs in winter. Benefitting from an aggressive, grippy outsole, this highly cushioned shoe will help you tackle big miles in comfort and with confidence.

Like most of the shoes in our X-TALON range, the 260 V2 has a STICKYGRIP outsole with 8mm rubber lugs. These lugs claw deep into muddy or soft ground, giving you outstanding traction on difficult terrain.

The X-TALON 260 V2 is highly cushioned and wider fitting for comfort during those longer runs. POWERFLOW MAX foam cushioning helps you fight off fatigue for longer by delivering bounce and energy return with every stride.

Ballistic nylon is used in the upper to provide a super tough shield against rocks and other trail debris, while a toe bumper protects against unseen hazards.

If you need to run long on soft ground, the X-TALON ULTRA 260 V2 is the shoe for you. Grippy, comfortable and protective to let you run with confidence over challenging ground.

If you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days of it being delivered. To qualify for a full refund, you need to return the item in an “as new” condition, in its original packaging.

Product Care

Running Footwear

To maximise the life of your running shoes, make sure you dry them fully between runs. When dirty or muddy, clean your shoes to maintain the flexibility of the upper and its resistance to wear.

Washing:

For best results hand wash your shoes as close to the end of your run as possible. To wash your shoes:

Remove the insoles and loosen or remove the laces.
Brush off dried/caked mud using a soft brush.
Rinse your shoes under cold running water while brushing off any remaining mud/debris (an old toothbrush is perfect for this).

Drying:

Place your shoes in a warm room, an airing cupboard or outside (but not in direct sunlight) to dry. Do not dry your shoes in a tumble drier or next to radiators, fireplaces or hot summer sunlight.

You can speed up the drying process by removing the shoe’s insole and shoelaces, and by stuffing them with newspaper.

Make sure your shoes are completely dry before wearing again.

RE-WATERPROOFING:

As with all water-repellent treatments, over time they begin to lose their effectiveness. To maintain your shoe’s waterproof finish, we recommend periodically re-waterproofing them using a product such as Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus.

Warranty

We pride ourselves on the quality and performance of our products. However, in the unlikely event of a fault of defect, all INOV8 products come with a 12-month warranty.

This warranty excludes:

Normal wear and tear
Misuse
Accidental damage
Issues caused by not following the products care instructions

Ballistic Nylon Upper

Crash through the fiercest vegetation with confidence. We use ballistic nylon to provide durable protection against rocks and vegetation. Ballistic nylon was originally developed for flak jackets in World War Two! The lightweight material also doesn't absorb water, so it stays light even when wet.
Gaiter Hooks

Stay dry and protected from debris by attaching a gaiter to your shoes. On-the-shoe gaiter hooks offer a more secure way to attach the water resistant ALL TERRAIN GAITER for extra protection.
