Glide over the ground in the TRAILTALON™ MAX, our highly cushioned, comfy soft trail running shoe. Perfect for longer runs and ultras.

FLYSPEED™ Pro midsole foam provides a cushioned and bouncy ride, while still allowing ground feel on technical terrain. This, coupled with a BOOMERANG FOOTBED, offers maximum shock absorption and energy return during long-distance runs. 

Get a firm, dependable grip over soft or muddy ground with the TRAILTALON™ MAX’s graphene-infused rubber grip. This outsole, with its 6mm lugs, will gouge through soft terrain and keep you moving. 

Feel secure, but free to move with the TRAILTALON™ MAX’s anatomical fit. When tightening your shoelaces, a MET-CRADLE tightens to form a protective cradle from your heel to midfoot, keeping you feeling secure and locked-in. At the front of the shoe, the toe box widens, giving your toes room to naturally splay as you strike the ground and push off again.

The TRAILTALON™ MAX is available in a choice of fits: Standard and Wide. Go standard if you have narrow feet, or prefer a closer fit. Go Wide if you have wider feet or prefer more room when running long distances.

Whether for wintry long runs, longer trail races or a boggy ultramarathon, the TRAILTALON™ MAX has all the grip, cushioning and protection you need to make short work of those big miles.

Product Care

Running Footwear

To maximise the life of your running shoes, make sure you dry them fully between runs. When dirty or muddy, clean your shoes to maintain the flexibility of the upper and its resistance to wear.

Washing:

For best results hand wash your shoes as close to the end of your run as possible. To wash your shoes:

  1. Remove the insoles and loosen or remove the laces.
  2. Brush off dried/caked mud using a soft brush.
  3. Rinse your shoes under cold running water while brushing off any remaining mud/debris (an old toothbrush is perfect for this).

Drying:

Place your shoes in a warm room, an airing cupboard or outside (but not in direct sunlight) to dry. Do not dry your shoes in a tumble drier or next to radiators, fireplaces or hot summer sunlight.

You can speed up the drying process by removing the shoe’s insole and shoelaces, and by stuffing them with newspaper.

Make sure your shoes are completely dry before wearing again.

RE-WATERPROOFING:

As with all water-repellent treatments, over time they begin to lose their effectiveness. To maintain your shoe’s waterproof finish, we recommend periodically re-waterproofing them using a product such as Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus.

Warranty

We pride ourselves on the quality and performance of our products. However, in the unlikely event of a fault of defect, all INOV8 products come with a 12-month warranty.

This warranty excludes:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse
  • Accidental damage
  • Issues caused by not following the products care instructions

  3. Quick Draining Upper

    The TRAILTALON��� MAX has a quick draining air mesh upper that allows water to exit the shoe as quickly as it entered. It also benefits from a protective toe guard overlay to prevent painful stubs on unseen obstacles.

  4. BOOMERANG Footbed

    Preserve your energy on long runs with the BOOMERANG Footbed. The insoles feature hundreds of foam beads that compress and spring back for 40% energy return during your stride. Perfect for longer runs where maximising every bit of energy counts.

  5. Choice Of Fits

    The TRAILTALON��� MAX hugs the natural contours of your foot, locking you in at the heel and then widening at the toes. Available in Standard Fit and Wide Fit. Go Wide Fit if you have wide feet or would like more room when running longer distances.
