Race as light and fast as possible with the RACESHELL HALF ZIP UNISEX RUNNING JACKET.
Designed and built with racing in mind, the RACESHELL is perfect for intense training runs and races. Fully transparent, the jacket will display your race number at all times, without the need for you to unzip to show officials along the route.
The RACESHELL HALF ZIP meets race kit requirements where a waterproof jacket must be carried. With a high waterproof rating of 15,000 HH, taped seams and an integrated hood, the jacket provides a lightweight protective layer against the wind and rain.
Weighing just 100g, this ultra-light jacket can be rolled down into a small ball, which can be stashed into a race vest, waist pack, or even the stash pocket on a pair of shorts or tights.
When you're working hard, the RACESHELL let's heat to easily escape the shell, keeping you cool and comfortable. Extra ventilation is provided by the jacket's front zip, which can let more heat out as needed.
Our lightest jacket in the range, it barely feels like you're wearing a waterproof shell. Perfect for your next trail, mountain or road race in wet weather.

If you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days of it being delivered for a full refund. To qualify for a refund, you need to return the item in an “as new” condition, in its original packaging.
Returns are charged at €30.
Product Care
WATERPROOF RUNNING JACKETS
EVERY TIME YOU WEAR YOUR WATERPROOF JACKET:
- Wear a long sleeve top underneath to allow it to wick sweat away from your skin and keep you dry.
- Tumble dry after every use on a low heat to reactivate the jacket’s waterproof coating.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Zip up any zips and fasten any Velcro before placing inside the washing machine.
- Add detergent to the detergent draw of your washing machine. We recommend using Grangers® Performance Wash. Do not use fabric softener.
- Wash your waterproof jacket according to its care label instructions.
- Air dry naturally or tumble dry on low.
RE-WATERPROOFING:
Over time all waterproof jackets lose their water repellence. To maintain this we recommend re-proofing your jacket every 6-12 months. If you have a big race or adventure coming up, it’s always wise to re-proof your jacket.
We recommend using Grangers® Wash + Repel Clothing 2 in 1 to re-proof your jacket. This cleans and re-proofs your jacket in a single washing machine cycle. Alternatively you can apply Grangers® Performance Repel Plus spray to your jacket after it has been washed (and still wet).
Warranty
We pride ourselves on the quality and performance of our products. However, in the unlikely event of a fault of defect, all INOV8 products come with a 12-month warranty.
This warranty excludes:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse
- Accidental damage
- Issues caused by not following the products care instructions

2.5 Layer Waterproof Fabric
Stay protected on the trails and in the hills. The RACESHELL has 2.5 layer waterproof fabric that has a rating of 15,000 HH (which means it can withstand 15,000mm of rain in a 24-hour period). With fully taped seams too, this jacket meets the requirements of races where you need to carry a waterproof jacket with you.

Highly Breathable
Keep cool and comfortable during races and high intensity training runs. The RACESHELL's waterproof fabric is also highly breathable. With a rating of 15,000 B-1, heat can easily escape the shell, helping you to manage your temperature and push harder.

Temperature Management
In really wet and windy conditions, the jacket's hood can be pulled up to provide extra protection from the elements. Equally, the RACESHELL's dual front zip can be opened to provide additional ventilation as needed.

Lightweight & Packable
Built for racing, the RACESHELL has been designed to provide ultra-lightweight protection. Weighing just 100g, it barely feels like you're wearing a jacket. When not in use, the jacket can be rolled up into a tiny ball and secured using its integrated elastic loop.

Fully Transparent
Display your race number, while staying dry! The RACESHELL is fully transparent, allowing your race bib to be visible at all times. Without the need to unzip your jacket at a checkpoint or the finish, you can concentrate on racing as fast as possible.
