Lightweight hiking boots that offer comfort and protection on any adventure. Meet the ROCLITE MID.

Featuring a brand-new, anatomical fit, the ROCLITE MID fits snugly around the heel to give you a locked-in feel. It then widens with a generous toe-box that allows your toes to splay and to stay comfortable as they swell on longer-distance hikes.

Our ROCLITE range shatters the idea that hiking footwear needs to be heavy and clunky. We design hiking boots and shoes that do things differently. Our boots are light, but also pack in all the technology to ensure you have a comfortable day out on the trails.

Starting at the top, the ROCLITE MID GTX has a single piece of engineered mesh, that keeps you protected, while also allowing sweat to exit the boot. On top of that a MET-CRADLE forms a protective sock around your foot to help keep you supported and stable when walking over uneven, technical terrain.

Underneath your foot, a POWERFLOW PRO cushioned midsole is our lightest foam yet, at the same time also giving supreme comfort and allowing you to still feel the ground beneath. A flexible META-PLATE rock plate protects your underfoot from jabs from sharp rocks. This flexibility gives protection, but doesn’t make the boot rigid, allowing your foot to respond to the ground more naturally.

A grippy rubber outsole provides excellent grip and traction on all surfaces. Shaped like the hoof pattern of a mountain goat, the boot's 6mm rubber cleats will claw into wet mud, but also cling on to rock for dependable grip.

Product Care

WALKING FOOTWEAR

It’s important to regularly clean your walking boots or shoes in order to maintain the effectiveness of its upper and waterproof membrane.

WASHING:

For best results hand wash your shoes as close to the end of your hike as possible. To wash your shoes:

  1. Tip the shoe upside down to remove any debris from inside.
  2. Remove the insoles and loosen or remove the laces.
  3. Brush off dried/caked mud using a soft brush.
  4. Rinse your shoes under cold or lukewarm water while brushing off any remaining mud/debris (an old toothbrush is perfect for this).
  5. For more in-depth cleaning, and to revitalise any water-repellent treatment, we recommend using Grangers® Footwear & Gear Cleaner spray.

DRYING:

Place your shoes in a warm room, an airing cupboard or outside (but not in direct sunlight) to dry. Do not dry your shoes in a tumble drier or next to radiators, fireplaces or hot summer sunlight.

You can speed up the drying process by removing the shoe’s insole and shoelaces, and by stuffing them with newspaper.

Make sure your shoes are completely dry before wearing again.

RE-WATERPROOFING:

As with all water-repellent treatments, over time they begin to lose their effectiveness. To maintain your shoe’s waterproof finish, we recommend periodically re-waterproofing them using a product such as Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus.

Warranty

We pride ourselves on the quality and performance of our products. However, in the unlikely event of a fault of defect, all INOV8 products come with a 12-month warranty.

This warranty excludes:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse
  • Accidental damage
  • Issues caused by not following the products care instructions

    A bouncy, cushioned ride that retains high levels of responsiveness is provided by the new POWERFLOW PRO foam midsole. This amazing underfoot comfort and propulsion is built in a way that still allows for the ground-feel you need when hiking over uneven, hazardous terrain.

  3. 3D Air Mesh Upper

    A single piece of air-mesh material, making the shoe highly breathable and comfortable. Over the top of the air-mesh, thick MET-CRADLE strips connect the midfoot to the heel, creating a locked-in, secure feel when you tighten your laces.

  4. BOOMERANG Footbed

    Preserve your energy on longer hikes with the BOOMERANG Footbed. The insoles feature hundreds of foam beads that compress and spring back for 40% energy return during your stride. Perfect for long treks where maximising every bit of energy counts.

  5. Anatomical Fit

    The fit of the ROCLITE MID hugs the natural contours of your foot, locking you in at the heel and then widening at the toes. This anatomical fit allows your feet to splay and feel the ground, while still giving you that secure feel that you need on technical trails.
