Hike up the comfort with the ROCLITE MAX MID GTX, our cushioned and protective waterproof hiking boots. Ideal for demanding day hikes and multi-day adventures.
Experience outstanding grip on all surfaces with the ROCLITE MAX MID GTX’s STICKYGRIP™ rubber outsole. The boot’s 6mm lugs with gouge through soft mud for superior traction, but will also cling firmly to treacherous wet rock, giving you confidence, whatever the terrain.
High levels of cushioning are provided by the ROCLITE’s FLYSPEED™ Pro foam midsole. This comfortable, generous layer of foam provides maximum levels of shock absorption and energy return when walking long distances, day after day (particularly if you’re wearing a heavy pack).
The boot’s upper is made of a breathable, rugged mesh. This sits on top of a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane to keep your feet dry and comfortable in wet conditions.
Our hiking footwear is designed to work with the natural mechanics of your foot, in our belief that nature knows best. The ROCLITE MAX MID GTX benefits from an anatomical fit that offers a secure, locked in feel, while still allowing your toes plenty of room to naturally splay.

WALKING FOOTWEAR
It’s important to regularly clean your walking boots or shoes in order to maintain the effectiveness of its upper and waterproof membrane.
WASHING:
For best results hand wash your shoes as close to the end of your hike as possible. To wash your shoes:
- Tip the shoe upside down to remove any debris from inside.
- Remove the insoles and loosen or remove the laces.
- Brush off dried/caked mud using a soft brush.
- Rinse your shoes under cold or lukewarm water while brushing off any remaining mud/debris (an old toothbrush is perfect for this).
- For more in-depth cleaning, and to revitalise any water-repellent treatment, we recommend using Grangers® Footwear & Gear Cleaner spray.
DRYING:
Place your shoes in a warm room, an airing cupboard or outside (but not in direct sunlight) to dry. Do not dry your shoes in a tumble drier or next to radiators, fireplaces or hot summer sunlight.
You can speed up the drying process by removing the shoe’s insole and shoelaces, and by stuffing them with newspaper.
Make sure your shoes are completely dry before wearing again.
RE-WATERPROOFING:
As with all water-repellent treatments, over time they begin to lose their effectiveness. To maintain your shoe’s waterproof finish, we recommend periodically re-waterproofing them using a product such as Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus.
Warranty
We pride ourselves on the quality and performance of our products. However, in the unlikely event of a fault of defect, all INOV8 products come with a 12-month warranty.
This warranty excludes:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse
- Accidental damage
- Issues caused by not following the products care instructions

The ROCLITE MAX MID GTX is fully waterproof, with a GORE-TEX�� membrane that will keep your feet dry. Over this, sits a layer of air-mesh upper that is both breathable and hardwearing. Thick MET-CRADLE strips overlay the air mesh, connecting the midfoot to the heel, creating a locked-in, secure feel when you tighten your laces.
