Venture further with the VENTURESHELL JACKET, a 3-layer waterproof hiking jacket for hardcore protection in heavy rain. Boasting a 30K HH waterproof rating, the VENTURESHELL lets you press on, even when the weather forecast says no.

The ultimate companion for fast-paced adventures, the VENTURESHELL JACKET also has a 30K MVTR breathability rating, meaning that it is highly breathable and lets moisture exit the shell. The breathability of the jacket is assisted by zip vents for when you want to cool down quick.

Cut with a hike specific fit, the VENTURESHELL is designed to be worn over base and insulating layers, while still allowing stretch and freedom of movement.

Inspired by the infamous climate of our Lake District home, the VENTURESHELL is a waterproof that can handle whatever the weather throws at you.

EVERY TIME YOU WEAR YOUR WATERPROOF JACKET:

  • Wear a long sleeve top underneath to allow it to wick sweat away from your skin and keep you dry.
  • Tumble dry after every use on a low heat to reactivate the jacket’s waterproof coating.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Zip up any zips and fasten any Velcro before placing inside the washing machine.
  2. Add detergent to the detergent draw of your washing machine. We recommend using Grangers® Performance Wash. Do not use fabric softener.
  3. Wash your waterproof jacket according to its care label instructions.
  4. Air dry naturally or tumble dry on low.

RE-WATERPROOFING:

Over time all waterproof jackets lose their water repellence. To maintain this we recommend re-proofing your jacket every 6-12 months. If you have a big race or adventure coming up, it’s always wise to re-proof your jacket.

We recommend using Grangers® Wash + Repel Clothing 2 in 1 to re-proof your jacket. This cleans and re-proofs your jacket in a single washing machine cycle. Alternatively you can apply Grangers® Performance Repel Plus spray to your jacket after it has been washed (and still wet).

  1. Waterproof 3-Layer Fabric With 30K HH Rating

    Stay dry and protected in heavy rain and snow. Made with a premium 3-layer fabric that provides complete protection from wind, rain and snow, the jacket has fully taped seams and has a 30K HH waterproof rating (this means it is highly waterproof and will withstand almost any downpour).

  2. Highly Breathable With 30K MVTR Rating

    Keep the moisture out but also let it escape with the VENTURESHELL’s 30K MVTR breathability rating. Sweat is allowed to exit the shell to help you regulate your temperature during intense hikes, with zip vents allowing you to increase ventilation and breathability even further.

  3. Adjustable Hood

    When the weather takes a turn for the worse, pull up your hood and keep going! The VENTURESHELL JACKET has a adjustable hood with a laminated, wire reinforced peak for keeping the rain out of your eyes. When not in use the hood can be clipped down to stop it flapping about in windy conditions.

  4. Regular Fit

    The VENTURESHELL benefits from a hiking specific, regular fit. This allows clothing to comfortably be layered beneath the shell while not making the jacket feel tight or restrictive.
