How to measure the length of your foot

On a hard floor, put a piece of paper against a wall.
Stand on the paper in your socks. Wear the type of socks you’d normally wear with this type of shoe.
Make sure the back of your heel is against the wall and that you’re placing your weight on your foot.
Ask someone to make a mark on the paper, at the end of your longest toe.
Measure that distance to determine the length of your foot.
It’s common to have one foot bigger than the other, so make sure you measure both feet. Pick your shoe size based on the length of your longer foot.

How to measure the width of your foot:

Make sure you’ve measured the length of your foot first. You’ll need this measurement to work out the correct width.

On a hard floor, put a piece of paper against a wall.
Stand on the paper in your socks.
Make sure your heel is against the wall and distribute weight evenly.
Trace a line around your foot and mark the widest point.
Measure the distance and compare with the width chart.

Choose the width based on your wider foot measurement.

Lightweight hiking boots that offer comfort and protection on any adventure. Meet the ROCLITE MID GTX.

Featuring a brand-new, anatomical fit, the ROCLITE GTX fits snugly around the heel to give you a locked-in feel. It then widens with a generous toe-box that allows your toes to splay and to stay comfortable as they swell on longer-distance hikes.

Our ROCLITE range shatters the idea that hiking footwear needs to be heavy and clunky. We design hiking boots and shoes that do things differently. Our boots are light, but also pack in all the technology to ensure you have a comfortable day out on the trails.

Starting at the top, the ROCLITE MID GTX has a single piece of engineered mesh, that's bonded to a GORE-TEX waterproof membrane. This keeps water out, but also allows sweat to exit the boot. On top of that a META-CRADLE forms a protective cradle around your foot to help keep your foot supported and stable when walking over uneven, technical terrain.

Underneath your foot, a POWERFLOW PRO cushioned midsole is our lightest foam yet, at the same time also giving supreme comfort and allowing you to still feel the ground beneath. A flexible META-PLATE rock plate protects your underfoot from jabs from sharp rocks. This flexibility gives protection, but doesn’t make the boot rigid, allowing your foot to respond to the ground more naturally.

A STICKYGRIP™ rubber outsole provides excellent grip and traction on all surfaces. Shaped like the hoof pattern of a mountain goat, the boot's 6mm rubber cleats will claw into wet mud, but also cling on to rock for dependable grip.

Product Care

WALKING FOOTWEAR

It’s important to regularly clean your walking boots or shoes in order to maintain the effectiveness of its upper and waterproof membrane.

WASHING:

For best results hand wash your shoes as close to the end of your hike as possible. To wash your shoes:

Tip the shoe upside down to remove any debris from inside.
Remove the insoles and loosen or remove the laces.
Brush off dried/caked mud using a soft brush.
Rinse your shoes under cold or lukewarm water while brushing off any remaining mud/debris (an old toothbrush is perfect for this).
For more in-depth cleaning, and to revitalise any water-repellent treatment, we recommend using Grangers® Footwear & Gear Cleaner spray.

DRYING:

Place your shoes in a warm room, an airing cupboard or outside (but not in direct sunlight) to dry. Do not dry your shoes in a tumble drier or next to radiators, fireplaces or hot summer sunlight.

You can speed up the drying process by removing the shoe’s insole and shoelaces, and by stuffing them with newspaper.

Make sure your shoes are completely dry before wearing again.

RE-WATERPROOFING:

As with all water-repellent treatments, over time they begin to lose their effectiveness. To maintain your shoe’s waterproof finish, we recommend periodically re-waterproofing them using a product such as Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus.

We pride ourselves on the quality and performance of our products. However, in the unlikely event of a fault of defect, all INOV8 products come with a 12-month warranty.

Anatomical Fit
