Designed for a lightweight, responsive ride, the X-TALON 212 V2 has a narrower, precise fit. This helps you maintain excellent levels of ground control and responsiveness - a critical factor when training or racing over treacherous terrain.

The shoes allow you to fly over soft ground, with a STICKYGRIP™ rubber outsole delivering incredible traction over wet or thick mud. 8mm deep lugs claw through mud, while also allowing you to hop and cling to slippery rocks.

Features

STICKYGRIP™ Outsole

Get a firm grip on soft, wet ground and harder terrain. 8mm STICKYGRIP™ rubber studs claw through soft mud, while also clinging onto rocky or harder trails. This industry-leading grip delivers exceptional traction, allowing you to run faster across wet or dry ground.
Injected EVA Midsole

Feel the ground as you run. A thin, injected EVA midsole provides a lightly cushioned underfoot feel for greater comfort - even on rough, steep terrain. At the same time, the thin midsole also allows the shoe to flex, allowing for a responsive ride.
Super-Tough Upper

Run over rough ground or dense vegetation in confidence. The super-tough upper protects you from rocks, tree roots, heather or other hazards. The upper resists wear for longer, making it more durable and long-lasting.
Gaiter Hooks

Stay dry and protected from debris by attaching a gaiter to your shoes. On-the-shoe gaiter hooks offer a more secure way to attach the water resistant ALL TERRAIN GAITER for extra protection.

Product Care

Running Footwear

To maximise the life of your running shoes, make sure you dry them fully between runs. When dirty or muddy, clean your shoes to maintain the flexibility of the upper and its resistance to wear.
Washing:

For best results hand wash your shoes as close to the end of your run as possible. To wash your shoes:
1. Remove the insoles and loosen or remove the laces.
2. Brush off dried/caked mud using a soft brush.
3. Rinse your shoes under cold running water while brushing off any remaining mud/debris (an old toothbrush is perfect for this).
Drying:

Place your shoes in a warm room, an airing cupboard or outside (but not in direct sunlight) to dry. Do not dry your shoes in a tumble drier or next to radiators, fireplaces or hot summer sunlight.

You can speed up the drying process by removing the shoe’s insole and shoelaces, and by stuffing them with newspaper.

Make sure your shoes are completely dry before wearing again.
RE-WATERPROOFING:

As with all water-repellent treatments, over time they begin to lose their effectiveness. To maintain your shoe’s waterproof finish, we recommend periodically re-waterproofing them using a product such as Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus.
