Hike all year round in the MERINO LONG SLEEVE HIKING T-SHIRT. This highly versatile top is ideally used as a hiking base layer, where it can be worn on its own, or under other clothes as part of a layering system.

Made from ethically-produced mulesing-free Merino wool, the materials used in this top have been certified by the Responsible Wool Standard. To achieve this certification, the wool farmer and INOV8 must meet rigorous animal welfare, land management and social requirements.

The natural properties of the wool make the MERINO LONG SLEEVE HIKING T-SHIRT insulating in cold weather by trapping air in its fibres. When conditions are warmer, the material keeps you comfortable by wicking sweat away from your skin and drying quickly.

Because the wool is also naturally odour resistant, it requires less frequent washing. Perfect for multi day adventures where you need to pack light by reusing kit.

You can wear this tee under an insulating mid-layer and outer shell in the winter, on its own in the summer, or under a waterproof in the spring and autumn (it’s better to wear a long sleeve under a waterproof jacket to maximise its effectiveness).

Featuring a comfortable, relaxed fit, the T-shirt allows you full range of movement and feels neither too tight or too loose. This makes the t-shirt supremely comfy to wear for walking, hiking or any other outdoor activity.

Returns

If you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days of it being delivered for a full refund. To qualify for a refund, you need to return the item in an “as new” condition, in its original packaging.

Product Care

MERINO WOOL CLOTHING:

Merino wool garments don’t need to be washed as often as synthetic clothing. We recommend only washing if the garment smells, you’ve done intense exercise in it, or you know you won’t use it now for a prolonged period.

To reduce the need to wash your Merino clothing as often, let it air and dry fully between uses.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Wash on a 30°C cycle, or cooler. Never wash Merino at a temperature above 30°C.
We recommend using a Merino-specific detergent such as Grangers® Merino Wash. This laundry detergent protects the natural properties of the wool and contains a cedar extract to help repel moths.
Never use fabric softener on Merino wool.
Leave to dry naturally – do not tumble dry.

MOTHS:

Like all woollen clothing, Merino can be quite appetising to some species of moth. To protect your clothing:

Pack it away in a zipped bag during extended periods when you know you won’t be using it.
Consider using a Merino specific detergent with moth-repellent properties such as Grangers® Merino Wash.
Keep wardrobe doors and draws closed when not in use.
Use natural moth repellents near to where you keep your Merino clothing. Moths are not fans of lavender, peppermint, cloves, cedarwood and some other strong smells.
