Defy the weather with the VENTURELITE JACKET. Fully waterproof and windproof, this premium hiking jacket blocks out the elements so you can keep going in the most challenging of conditions.
The VENTURELITE JACKET is water repellant to 15,000mm. This means that if a column of water were placed on the jacket's fabric, it would need to be 15 metres tall before it would penetrate it! Or, to put it another way, the VENTURELITE JACKET will easily see you through heavy downpours and snow.
The jacket is also highly breathable, making it ideal for hillier walks or intense fast hikes. To assist with this, ventilated zones on the underarm further help moisture exit the jacket. In fact, the VENTURELITE JACKET is so breathable, it is a favourite with ultra-runners looking for a more protective waterproof for their adventures.
Super lightweight, the jacket packs down small into its own pocket. This makes it very small and easy to carry in a backpack, ready for when you need it.
An adjustable hood can be pulled up in challenging conditions. This has a laminated, wire reinforced peak to keep the rain out of your eyes.
The jacket has two zipped pockets which have inner compartments for stashing valuables and small items securely. The pockets are also large enough to store an Ordnance Survey map.

Product Care
EVERY TIME YOU WEAR YOUR WATERPROOF JACKET:
- Wear a long sleeve top underneath to allow it to wick sweat away from your skin and keep you dry.
- Tumble dry after every use on a low heat to reactivate the jacket’s waterproof coating.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Zip up any zips and fasten any Velcro before placing inside the washing machine.
- Add detergent to the detergent draw of your washing machine. We recommend using Grangers® Performance Wash. Do not use fabric softener.
- Wash your waterproof jacket according to its care label instructions.
- Air dry naturally or tumble dry on low.
RE-WATERPROOFING:
Over time all waterproof jackets lose their water repellence. To maintain this we recommend re-proofing your jacket every 6-12 months. If you have a big race or adventure coming up, it’s always wise to re-proof your jacket.
We recommend using Grangers® Wash + Repel Clothing 2 in 1 to re-proof your jacket. This cleans and re-proofs your jacket in a single washing machine cycle. Alternatively you can apply Grangers® Performance Repel Plus spray to your jacket after it has been washed (and still wet).
Warranty
We pride ourselves on the quality and performance of our products. However, in the unlikely event of a fault of defect, all INOV8 products come with a 12-month warranty.
This warranty excludes:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse
- Accidental damage
- Issues caused by not following the products care instructions

Waterproof Three-Layer Fabric
Stay dry and protected in heavy rain and snow. Made with a premium three-layer fabric that provides complete protection from wind, rain and snow, the jacket has fully taped seams and is water repellant to 15,000mm (this means it is highly waterproof and will withstand almost any downpour).
